Khumba
Khumba é uma jovem zebra que, por ter nascido com apenas metade do corpo listado, é ostracizada pelas demais. Segundo a sua manada, ele é o grande culpado pela seca que assolou a savana. Assim, para que tudo regresse à normalidade, tem de partir em busca da lendária lagoa da água mágica, de onde, supostamente, todas as zebras recebem as suas belas listas negras. Pelo caminho, Khumba terá de enfrentar Phango, um malvado leopardo que controla todos os poços e aterroriza os animais ao redor. E será ao longo desta longa e perigosa viagem, com novos amigos e as novas experiências, que Khumba vai compreender algo muito importante: a diversidade é essencial à sobrevivência e ser diferente pode, muitas vezes, revelar-se uma força.
